Yogamaya Terms & Conditions
General Purchase Information: You have purchased a service that will be delivered to you either “In-Studio” or online through a video conferencing, streaming or rental service of Yogamaya’s choosing. Unless otherwise noted, all sales are final and are not refundable and not transferable, and a student Information Form and Liability Waiver where you self-attest to being Covid Vaccinated must be submitted before services are rendered.
Mat Rental: Mat rental is included with all “In Studio” class purchases.
Refund, Cancellation and Arrival Policy: Unless otherwise noted, regularly scheduled in-studio classes purchased directly through Yogamaya must be canceled online 12 hours before the class start time or the class will be considered a “Late Cancel” and debited from your account. If you do not show up for a class you reserved it will be considered a “No-Show” and the class will be debited from your account. Classes canceled prior to the 12-hr Late Cancel window are considered “Early Cancel” and will be returned to your account to use within the valid period of your expiration date. All class purchases are non-refundable and subject to the expiration dates indicated at the point of sale. Exceptions will not be made.
Important Stuff: Time: We have a 5-minute late policy. Arrive early to give yourself time to sign in and change. Don’t stress, but if you are running late, the class may already be full or the door locked. If you are able to enter late, please enter the room quietly without disrupting others. If you need to leave early, tell the teacher before class and follow their guidelines. Please inform the teacher of any emergency situations and come up with a solution together.
**Please note: For early morning classes the doors in our elevator lobby will be locked about 2min after the class start time, so please arrive a few min early for the 7am and 8am classes.
Space: Practice awareness when placing your mat down and make space for yourself and others. It helps to stagger the mats so the front of the mats are not lined up. You may need to adjust your mat as more people enter the room to keep a good spacing vibe.
Shoes: Leave them by the studio entrance or put them inside your bag to bring into the practice room. No shoes in the practice room unless bagged!
Stuff: Please store your valuables on the shelves in the yoga room (or in the Mat Storage Closet). No tech use is allowed in practice rooms during class. Please put your phone on silent (not vibrate) and in your bag.

Workshops and Special Events: Most workshops and special events must be cancelled 48-hours before the start time. In the case of multi-session workshops and events, cancellation must be made 48-hours before the start time of the first session. No full or partial refunds will be given after that time. Certain workshops and special events are non-refundable, and this is noted in their specific description. Please refer to our Arrival Policy and the specific details for the workshop you are registering for.
Schedule Change Policy: While we do our best to communicate changes in advance, please note that Yogamaya reserves the right to make schedule changes at any time, including without notice, and extraordinary refunds will not be given for services that occur, including instances when the teacher is substituted or decision is made to deliver the service online through a video conferencing, streaming or rental service of Yogamaya’s choosing.
Teacher Training: Please refer to the Student Agreement and Tuition Contract that you agreed to upon submitting your online application.
Private Mat Storage: Is available on a monthly recurring payment for a specific price. We reserve the right to donate mats left in our private storage area for non-payment within 1 week of non-payment.
Monthly Recurring Memberships: Monthly recurring memberships will recur forever every 30-days unless cancelled by the student through your dashboard. By purchasing the “Monthly” membership, you agree to be auto-charged every 30-days and understand that any unused class credits will not transfer to a future pay cycle. Just like Netflix, once you cancel you still have access through the end of your pay cycle. No refunds, no transfers, no carry-over class credits, no 2nd guessing!
